Did they fix the item dupe cheat in the gog version of quest for glory V? Im trying to determine if its gone or if Im just doing it wrong.

The GOG version includes all official patches, and those fixed the bug. Don't worry, you'll be tripping over gold before you know it.

yeah probably :P that and its not like theres much to buy considering the gog version includes a savegame to import and start as a paladin, i just missed playing with it is all. I seem to recall that back in the day it was o easy i figured out how to do it by accident and thought I was clever.

Actually, the version of QFGV I played back in the day had the same importable character. Not sure if it was standard or not, but there you go.

As far as I can remember, the QfG games that could be played as a Paladin always included a pre-made import so that people who did not play the previous titles could enjoy this class. I'm not sure about QfG 3 (don't remember now), but I'm sure my disc versions of QfG 4 and QfG 5 have this.

There was definitely a paladin import for 5.

I don't remember there being one for QFG4, but I only played the floppy version and the CD version may have had one as an extra.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't one for QFG3. (Probably in part because you still had the option to become a paladin in that one.)

Well its interesting because I don't remember my original CD version of the game including this. In fact I recal being very excited when I found the paladin savegame as a download and was able to play as one, the game was kind of frustrating otherwise.
