Does the new Quake Enhanced update support playing the campaign co-op using LAN?

I see it has local split-screen co-op but I was hoping to connect two computers together and play co-op without an internet connection.

It seems possible(?). There's a guide that can be found here that provides some instructions on how to host a dedicated LAN server for the game with multiplayer.

Thank you.

I'll leave some quick instructions in case anyone else wants to give it a try.

Host starts a local multiplayer game with only themself by clicking "Multiplayer" then "Local Play" in the main menu and configuring it to their liking.

When the game starts press "~" and open the console, then the host types this "-listen 1".

The player who will be joining the LAN game then opens their own console "~" from the main menu and types this: "connect IP" with IP being the IP address of the hosting computer on your network.

Playing via LAN ran great, we finished the entire original Quake campaign with no problems.
Now that sounds like a good time!
I tried this console command code in LAN play it does not work it still will not let me join no matter what I do! Please tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
