Hi everybody,

I find it a bit odd that the original Q3A is still being sold even while Quake Live is out, being that they’re supposedly the same game but with QL having a number of upgrades and a much larger player base. So, if you own QL, is there any reason to still buy Q3A?

Reasons for the Original is Offline play with bots or local with friends and private servers with friends or groups. Another few major reasons why the older versions are better like Quake 3 is MODS, Customer character skins, levels, music you name it. Quake Live charges you for skins and such and you are not allowed to mod the game or you get your account banned.

Classics my friend Classics!

Oh and you can custom resolution to 4k and have texture packs to make the game look a bit better.
