Hi, I'm trying to play Quake: The Offering but for some reason it's not taking advantage of the full screen size of my laptop. Specifically, it runs at 640x400x16. It's still playable like that, but nonetheless I would like it to fill out the entire screen, which is 13,3 inches. Under "Video Options" it says: "Video modes must be set from the command line with -width (width) and -BPP (bits-per-pixel)". Maybe I'm just computer illiterate, but I simply don't understand what I'm supposed to do.

For some reason, Quake is only game out of several that I've bought on GOG that's behaving like this.

I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad S540 (Windows 10, 64 bit).

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

I suggest downloading a source port. The closest to original is QuakeSpasm: http://quakespasm.sourceforge.net/. It has full compatibility even with the newest hardware. Its installation is very easy. Just copy the files to your Quake folder and launch quakespasm.exe. You'll have an option to select any resolution you want without using the command line.

Better use Quakespasm-Spiked or vkQuake so you can play with a framerate higher than 72 without breaking the ingame physics.
