What is IWBUMS?
A beta branch, available in GoG Galaxy, known for its instability. It means "I will back up my saves."

It's used to gather feedback on bugs, issues, and new features before they're added to the main branch. Bugs in multiplayer are of particular concern, as they can affect a large audience simultaneously.

How Often Will These be Posted on GoG?
Generally, these will be uploaded after business hours, each Friday. This may be subject to change depending on the state of the build Friday and whether a build is released on Steam for that week.

What OSes Are They For?
Currently, these are only for Windows and Mac. We'll consider Linux support if there's a demand for it, but this would require Classic installers being built for each update, by GoG.

EnigmaGrey: How Often Will These be Posted on GoG?
Generally, these will be uploaded after business hours, each Friday. This may be subject to change depending on the state of the build Friday and whether a build is released on Steam for that week.
Over the months, Steam users have gotten four weeks of weather build IWBUMS releases:
- IWBUMS Build 40.9 (August 23, 2018)
- IWBUMS Build 40.11 (August 30, 2018)
- IWBUMS Build 40.14 (September 6, 2018)
- IWBUMS Build 40.16 (September 13, 2018)

None of these IWBUMS builds have appeared on GOG. Why?

Please commit to updating GOG's IWBUMS channel as a part of your normal IWBUMS release workflow. Or get rid of it. The current state of affairs makes it rather useless for its intended purpose (testing and multiplayer testing in particular) because GOG versions lag behind and multiplayer IWBUMS playtest sessions between GOG and Steam users require piracy or other questionable means to match versions.
