I was waiting for the patch to finally start the second chapter of the game, but it seems that my problem with the game persist. After a few minutes of gameplay begins a random frame drop, combined with an exaggerated mouse sensitivity, that somethimes even rsult in death because you can literally face anywere after this moments. It last just a second, but it is enough to do the job.
I really don't think is an hardware problem, i have a geforce1600, 16gb of ram, an intel core i7-6700HQ, i mean i THINK it should be enough.
I was hoping for the patch to fix this, but i was too optimistic it seems. A real bummer, i can't wait to enjoy the game properly.
Is anyone know how to fix this?

Same for me, bro, you're not alone ! The framerate still feel like it's capped between 30-40 fps.

My specs are:
-GTX 1060 6gb
-i5 4570
-Windows 8.1
-16 Gb RAM

The game just doesn't feel smooth at all, it's very jerky/stuttery when I move turn around/move the mouse. I can easily maintain 144fps as well but it definitely doesn't feel smooth like 144fps normally does.
Exactly. What's more, I didn't find how to enable/disable the v-sync.
Same here, I guess I will wait for the next patch.
I'm still having the problem with the camera suddenly moving into a different direction because of the game stuttering. Seems to happen more in indoor levels like the Sewers than in outdoor levels like the Graveyard.

My specs:
i7-2600K CPU @ 3,40 GHz
GTX 1060 6GB
Windows 7 64 Bit
16 GB RAM
Yep, same here. If anything it seems to happen even more frequently than before, at least in the sewer level where my current save is.

Really love the idea of this game and have enjoyed the execution of the idea so far, but this performance makes it unplayable for me :( Looking forward to the patch that finally solves this issue!

yeah i can back up this, it seems more frequent even to me, but my save is in the snow-world
The performance actually got worse for me. It runs 60 fps but it looks and feels like 30 or less, with random jitters that make you lose the sense where you are (had these problems before but now they're worse). I really hope this game gets fully fixed, love it very much.

From what I'm reading this looks like frame pacing issue. Which means that fixing it may be really problematic (some big games with this problem never fixed it).
Hi everyone,

I am really sorry to hear that you are having such problems. I am working on this issue constantly with more improvements coming in the future updates. Everything has been heard!

Best Regards
Jakub
Ok not a 100% perfect solution but for me it made a big difference.

I capped the framerate at 60 fps (144 for people with 144 Hz monitors) with nvidiaProfileInspector and when playing e.g. the sewers in Episode 1 there is significantly less stuttering going on. I think I encountered it only once during my playthrough of all 12 maps in Episode 1. Over all it made playing way more enjoyable. I guess an ingame option to limit the fps between 60 and 144 could help a lot . Hope to see something like that in the near future.

The game ran fantastic for me before the patch. But now it is suddently unplayable. Next to random framerate frops the camera simply jitters all over the place even with the slightest of nudges. One tap to the right and suddenly I'm turned aroudn 180 degrees. I've tested the mouse sensitivity and it won't solve my problem ;(

I have the same problems, except i cant turn of Bloom and Ambient Occlusion with the graphics setting put to high, checking and unchecking the boxes for the options does nothing so i must play the game on medium settings.

would love if the dev could put 1.0.1 as an alternative download

the twitchy and wonky aim was there before but now it is 10 times worse,
Confirmed. I have more than enough fps, but the game just feels incredibly stuttery still. Nothing has improved since the patch.

Thanks, tried that. Capping the fps externally makes gameplay a bit smoother, but the lower the fps, the more input problems I get. If I cap the fps to 60, the dagger or pistol or any other weapon that can fire as fast as you can click, still misses half of my inputs.

Best result, input wise, is when I cap the fps to 180 on my 60hz screen. This way the game almost never misses an input. Problem is, I can only maintain 180 fps on low settings. That's with an i7 5930K and a 980Ti.
