Using a PS4 Controller. When entering controll settings, I can't remap anything, since immediately after clicking the desired function to change, the game triggers a "right stick up" without anything pressed or done.

Also ingame, character is rotating left side without any input.

Controller 100% works, DS4 readout doesn't recognize any false signals, other games have no problems.

Anyone has a clue where this comes from or how to fix?

Hi!

we focused our controller support on XOne Controller as of now. There might be bugs using PS4 Controller, sorry for that. We are still working on controller support.

Best Regards

Many thanks for your support. So you think this is plain PS4-type-problem? Can anyone confirm this behaviour for PS4 controller? Because usually DS4 or other software can make the controller behave like an XBOX one, so we don't really need specific PS4-support to play.

As well, the controller seems to basically work for the game, it's just that it seems to endless-trigger this "right up stick", which I would immediatelly think is a broken controller, but I can't reproduce with any other software.

I didn't even know that you can use a controller.
Nice! Thank you!
I use the xbox one controller but I can't move a bit in the game using the right stick, but I still can map the controller in the option mode but when I return to the game, the right stick is not working at all.
I also get the constant "right stick up". I tried to find if there was a way to toggle off controller detection but with no sucess.

I recently developed a bad case of RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome. To play games the solution I found is to use a joycon to move the mouse with motion controls and I rig keyboard buttons to the controller using Xpadder.

In my case, just a way to turn off controller detection would be fantastic.
More than a year later, still the same bug, no fix, no workaround.

DO you use DS4Windows?
You might want to check "hide controller" in the options, might be a controller detection issue, also try running the DS4 controller with an X360 profile through DS4windows.
Not all games play well with DS4Windows, but usually by hiding the DS4 controller so as to trick the game into believing it's only seeing the 360 wrapper it helps.

You can also turn off the right stick Y axis (no vertical aiming) in the control settings, maybe it'll help, it's also barely useful in this game.
