So its limited. You cannot play single player without the servers because it sends the saves to the server and loads from it. Isn't that DRM? This game will die if the servers ever stop you won't be able to play. You can't play this offline.
i play this game offline exclusively with no issues

ProNet is mainly for browsing the custom maps.
Base single player game works 100% without it.

So i can play game without account? The game won't send any data to internet?
Why store say :
"GOG Galaxy and a ProNet account are required in order to get access to community content, multiplayer, leaderboards, and cross platform saves - a ProNet account will be created automatically once you start the game and choose 'Log in to ProNet with GOG Galaxy'." ?
I had one of my steam buddies test loading the Prodeus singleplayer campaign offline with his internet fully disconnected and it loaded just fine. However he never accepted the "Create a ProNet Account" popup so we don't know for sure if the save loading gets borked if it hooks into the cloud save server first.
Community content is completely locked behind the ProNet accounts which is why I keep neglecting to buy-in to Prodeus because it's such a scumbag move on the part of the developers when no other classic FPS pulls this kind of bullshit.

Definitely is a scumbag move, i almost clicked buy but i see GOG staff aren't deleting honest reviews for this one, so i luckily didn't get bamboozled. Thanks guy for doing the work for other buyers like me. Helps us stay away from scummy dishonest sales, and devs/game companies.
