Regardless of prices, games with offline bots are becoming increasingly valuable in this era of corporate server & services dependency and games relying on "player counts" to stay alive then end up being digital paper weights when no one is available to play online.


I would gladly pay extra for offline bot features if it was part of an expansion or dlc pack

** Note - I'm not encouraging walling off basic fundamental game features behind paywalls,
but encouraging additional financial incentives and support for small and independent studios that may not have the resources to add these kind of features.


Additional features rolled into expansions I would also pay for
- P2P, LAN, Adhoc (for handhelds using wifi/bluetooth), Split screen and offline bots
- Full controller support - ought to be standard but again some small studios just don't have the resources and inclination (particularley RTS genre)
- Mod support
