It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

It seems from the first pic that the game failed to start because it was set to run on 640x480 in 8 bit colour mode. Did you try clean uninstall? And reinstall it again.

Just unistalled, deleted the folder in program files. did a full reinstall and still get the same error,I don't get any option to change anything. and I have browsed my documents for a config file I can alter
Did you deleted the game folder on virtual store? As far as i know your config file located there but can't be modified with notepad or wordpad.

EDIT, I think I found what I'm after in the appdata\local the folder was empty but deleted it anyway and then did a clean reinstall (ps I always install by running as admin also)

Hover to this location:
C:\Users\*your user name*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Pro Pinball - Big Race USA

But to access this make sure you enable / tick "show hidden files and folders".

edited my previous post, so it was the right one :S

I no longer even have a virtualstore folder in there, even after trying to launch the game

EDIT-

reinstalled to my external hard drive it didn't work either, same error and didn't recreate my virtual store folder

EDIT2-

error.txt in my BRUSA folder contains-
Unable to set screen mode 1 non-flip +

Hmmmmm. I can't think of any other solution. My PC roughly same spec as yours, minus the AMD and RAM but it can run the game without problem. Maybe you should forward this issue to GOG support team. I guess they know better.

done that too, but no solution yet from their end

would you mind if you have the folder zip your virtaul store (obviously just the big race files) I'm hoping if the game has settings to read it will launch and then let me config them if needed

also what is your OS?
