I've just started playing Warrior Within and mapped the controls to my XBox controller with some effort. But when I enter the menu, sometimes it gets stuck and keeps coming back up. I thought it was due to controls, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Has anyone else run into this issue? Maybe I could try playing with keyboard + mouse for a bit to make sure it's not a problem with my controller. But then it still happened after I reset controls back to default.

I completed the game on windows 7 with a controller and didn't run to any problems. Do you have windows 10 by chance? Sometimes every update on windows 10 seems to break some older games..If that is not the problem maybe have a look here and see if your problem is listed.

I do have Windows 10, so maybe that's it. My problem doesn't appear there, though. When I said it might be the controller, I didn't mean controllers in general, but my controller specifically. It's quite old and might not be working right. I've dealt with the issue so far by entering the map screen to pause. The controls work fine otherwise.
