as this is Good OLD Games, is there any chance of getting the original PoP game? The one I played on the Tandy and 8088?

There were some older sequels form before the franchise reboot about 10 years ago, afaik most of it is abandon ware now and free, this would be awesome if GOG could grab this and release a DOSBOX version that works, as this was a classic.

These are speed runs of 1 and 2, but I think these would definitely still be fun, and I know I would buy them!

If I am not completly mistaken, there is a way to unlock the original game in "sand of time"

Regardless, they should add the original. It was a helluva lot better than the 3D crap installments. SoT and on were garbage. Original PoP FTW!

Start a new game and while on the balcony of Farah's room, hold X and press SPACEBAR, LEFT MOUSE BUTTON CLICK, E, C, E, SPACEBAR, LEFT MOUSE BUTTON CLICK, C.

It is the first stage of the original game only.

Fortunately, the game has had it's source code released and an open source rebuild can in fact be played for free now on modern PC's. The game for Windows and Linux is available here:

In the PS2 version of Sands of Time you could unlock something much closer to the original, if not a downright port of it by finding a secret in game.

On the PC version, if you follow the guide to unlock the game, you sadly only find a wall looking the same as the powerup secrets look once you've passed them
