Hi all

Revisted The Sands of Time on PC (after playing it on Xbox back in 04) and now getting ready to play Warrior Within. But I've read about all the game breaking glitches and bugs that can render the game unwinnable depending on the situation or actions of the player.

Are there any patches or fixes that are out there that fixes these? If not, whats the do's and don'ts to ensure you can have a full play through without getting stuck?

Also any recommended tweaks with a Nvidia 1070?

Had to make a few tweaks to get past some timing issues in Sands of Time. (Most notably getting stuck in the hidden water bridges where you increase the life bar.)

Thanks.
I haven't replayed the games on modern hardware yet, but from my past experience with multiple playthroughs of WW I would say - just save whenever possible, use multiple save slots and revert to an earlier save when necessary. If I recall correctly there are only 2 or 3 places in the game where things can seriously break.

Do you know what the 2-3 danger spots? Also heard if you go back in time and return it can break future events. I just want to make sure when I save its good and I don't find out the hard way that I get stuck at the end of the game and have to figure out where I was 'corrupted'. I heard stories of people doing entire replays of the game due to this.

Sorry for the late answer. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly - it has been quite a few years since I played the game last time. One case that I do remember was when the prince said something like "the portal no longer works. Something is wrong". If the portal was functional at that point - then indeed it meant that something was wrong.
But like I said - just use multiple save slots and cycle through them and you should be fine (this game does not autosave).
