I was absolutely hooked playing through it.
It's also the first game my missus liked watching. She had such a crush on the price.
"No, that's not how it happened" :D
Same story here. My girlfriend was not in the gaming until she saw Prince Of Persia. She loved to watch me play it... the whole saga.

my mum was like that.
she too watched me play the game all the way through, and a couple of the sequels.
she especially liked working out where to go in the environments and how to get there via the columns and outcroppings.
This is so true, I think girls are attracted to the game's physical puzzle element and lovable lead character; not to mention the fact its also a love story.
I think what puts females off in general is the combat, which is sometimes difficult even if you know what your doing and have a lot of experience.
My fiancé loves watching me play it, but refuses to play it herself.
er that's totally true, how bizarre!
My old girlfriend absolutely loved the game, all the trilogy and sometimes played it herself but used to want me to play it! When would you ever get the reverse happening?!
Ha! God I loved the three games they were and are so incredibly well-built - except for the last boss in Warrior Within. My god that was impossible. I gave up! Still, the whole package was mesmerising.

If you get to the point where Kaileena pushes him to the edge of the platform, you have to continueously slow down time and hit on him and pray you have enough sand reserves. If he gets back on his feet it becomes pretty much a tough game to stay alive.
