I've been quite impressed with this game so far, however, I have encountered a possible glitch that might make it impossible for me to finish the game, and I'd like to ask for some help.

I got the monocle from Oswald, and based on the motto of Memorious, I have used it on the information kiosk. However, all that comes up for me is a red screen and I can't read what's written on it. I suspect this is a graphical glitch that might be due to the fact that the computer I have to make do with at the moment is quite ancient, and isn't exactly built for gaming. I did not encounter any similar problems while playing the game, and I had no trouble running Resonance either, which is built on the same engine, I believe.
Just for the record, I'm running Primordia at 320x240 res, windowed mode, 16-bit graphics.

My question would be: is there any way to get around this puzzle (as much as I'd like to solve it myself I'm afraid I won't be able to at this rate) without having to read the screen of the kiosk? And if not, is there any way to get around the glitch?

Two solutions. One is that you can beat the game without the information you get by completing the puzzle. That is kind of unsatisfying, though, because you miss out on some good stuff.

I'm sorry you're not going to be able to do the puzzle -- it's my favorite, though Gamespy's least favorite! -- but one option is to just put in the last piece of information you need, which should trigger the necessary cutscene.

I will PM you that information to avoid spoiling. If anyone else has that problem, please post here or PM me.

Thank you, I was able to complete the game with the help you've sent me. It's a really enjoyable game, worth the money I spent on it (even with the VAT I was charged for the purchase.)
