Hi there,
I have noticed something strange when playing Prey through GOG Galaxy. Thing is that if I play with GOG Galaxy ovelay on my GPU temperature is around 66°C and fans are spinning at 76%, when overlay is off GPU temp. is 54°C and fans spining at 40%. GPU usage is the same in both cases, around 60-70%.
Both cases tested in the same location. I did not tested other games, just Prey.
How is that possible? Does the ovelay have such impact on GPU temperature?
My GPU is GTX 1650 G6.
