Hi!

After I finished the game twice on one computer, my son installed the game on another and started playing. However, in the Through a Glass Darkly quest, doctor Calvino's body doesn't show on the second floor of the Hardware Lab and the fabrication plans for Artax Propulsion plans are not where they are supposed to be: the desk in the Machine Shop doesn't have the plans. Hence: no Artax propulsion, no space, no game.

Any ideas what could have gone wrong? Any cheat for obtaining the plans?

First let's double-check that you haven't missed anything:
1. What happens when you use the crew tracker on a security terminal to pinpoint Lorenzo Calvino's location? Do you not get a HUD marker, or do you get one, but there's nothing when you get there? Video - relevant bit ends around 00:40.
2. The Artax fabrication plan is supposed to be in the Machine Shop area of the Hardware Labs. That's the one with the airlock exit to outer space. When you get on top of the metal enclosure with the fabricator and recycler on top, across from the latter is an L-shaped desk. The plan should be to the right of the terminal. Video.

* Prey doesn't have a developer console available, so you can't simply type in a few commands to get gear.
* How to fake a NewGame+ via modding (PC only) is complicated and requires starting over. If you're going to do that, might as well not touch any of the files.
* Mods are available but none are relevant.
