I just started playing this (I LOVE all things Roman Empire), and I was immediately impressed by the simple inclusion of PROPER formation manuevering.
Seeing my phalanx turn 90 degrees before moving, in unison was just beautiful. Some people would take something like that for granted. Not me!

Dear Sir,
With this one post you've talked me into buying this game and I hope you're happy now. And I'm not that huge fan of RTS games in the first place :] Talk about power of suggestion ;)

Almost anything by Kalypso (The developer) is well-worth picking up. Praetorians is jsut so true to the period...I love it! I hope you are enjoying it!!

Praetorians was developed by Pyro. Kalypso is the publisher. You got me curious so I went looking for Kalypso info and as far as I can tell they don't do any development. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Fair enough, Pyro was typically published by Kalypso though.
