I got the movie working in pcexhumed, you need to extract Book.MOV from the game.gog file.

Copy Stuff.dat Demo.vcr and book.mov (if you extract it from game.gog) to another folder with build GDX that will work.

How can you extract "Book.MOV" from "game.gog" - I've tried extracting it using 7Zip, and also renaming it to different archive format, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to extract the file from "game.gog". I assume it's just an image of the original game disc, but I can't seem to figure out how to get "Book.MOV".

.gog files are really .bin files. gog staff literelly renames any file ending with .bin to .gog.

do the opposite and get a bin extractor

I ended up finding those files elsewhere on the forums too, but thank you for sharing them! I've been able to get everything working using those files, kinda surprised how easy it is to work once you have them.

Ah! That's good to know for future releases. I figure a lot of games with CD audio probably have those in the install directories then - I'll look into that for future releases.

1) Run and install https://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/portable/

2) Drag Game.GOG into WinCDEmu's window and mount the file.

3) Go to My Computer and you will see Powerslave mounted as a drive.

4) Open that new drive, find BOOK.MOV and copy it into your GDX installation folder.

5) Back in CDEmu, unmount GAME.GOG.
