We recently put out a rather big update for POSTAL 2 on Steam currently for Windows only.

Just so you all know, it will come to the GoG build sometime in the new year, for both Windows and Mac, we'll also leave the older build up for those that prefer the game as it was released in 2003. You even get achievements, although you are able to disabled them if you so wish.

The P1 Steam updates (that, yes, fix that left turn issue among others) should arrive sooner, we'll let you know. Sorry for the delay!
No problem, thank you very much for the continued support!
Is this an exclusivity thing with Steam? Because I wouldn't think it would take much time to bring it to the GOG build.
That's freaking awesome...
Updates sound awesome, looking forward to their release here. Thanks for the continued DRM-free version support!
Thank you very much for both putting your game on GOG.com DRM-free, again for updating it 10 years after the fact (practically unheard of), and once again for planning on bringing the updated version to GOG.com DRM-free as well!

I had old copies of these games on CD and bought them here on GOG in order to have the convenience of the DRM-free/hassle free digital download plus all the updates, bonus items and whatnot, and it's awesome to see updates and new content etc. happening for such an old game!

When the updates arrive I might even buy a few more copies for friends who remember enjoying these when they first came out, I know a few people that would probably get a kick out of reliving them. ;)

Thanks again for supporting GOG and for supporting your gamers!

Nah, no exclusivity, just needed to foucs on one build first (we don't even have a patch for the retail disks yet, so it's not a snub to GoG or any other service).

We are a small team, that are still updating the game (and fixing the bugs with the original patch which we missed internally). This means those that did wait for the GoG updates will get a more solid and feature rich game. In fact we'll have added in the massive bystander voice variety patch by then, which is arguably the best update the game will have had.

Has there been an update about the new Postal 2 patch for GOG? We want to try it out! :)
Or we could get STEAM keys... just sayin'. Hey RWS, can we get STEAM keys since we bought the game here? PLEASE?

Since GOG is DRM-Free, I would hope we would get a GOG version of Postal 2 with the new patch and updates. :)

When GOG eventually gets this update, is it going to include all the new stuff on Steam from February 8th, 2014 as well?

Yesterday's patch notes make it sound like we will get these updates:
"Now the bulk of the game's features have been updated, our next priority is to get all these things to Linux and Mac on Steam, and also to the DRM free platforms such as GoG.com. "

Looking forward to it :)
Keep up the good work RWS. Love this game.
I'm not entirely sure why the updated Windows version has struggled to find its way onto GOG after all these months, even with a small development team. It just needs putting into GOG's installer (without Steam's DRM), doesn't it?
