I'm curious, considering how awesome Postal 2 was, is anybody planning to get Postal 3?
For sure, It's with the source engine if you look at the gore from left 4 dead 2 when you shoot someone in the stomach their guts pour out while running towards you, Hopefully they'll implement( obviously they will) In Postal 3. I've been a postal fan for ages never got disappointed yet.

well unless there is a damned r rating in australia by the time it's released it won't be released here
Sure, but I am afraid I will find difficult to use its 3rd person view... I guess I will see.
I'll definitely be getting it when it finally comes out. I'm a little iffy about the third person view but I can handle it cause I love both Postal 1 and 2 (of course 1 is isometric and the only goal was slaughter so it will control differently, but still :P). I was just looking around the Postal 3 website last Friday actually, and watching the gameplay videos makes me pretty excited for it. :D
I'll pick it up since I wanna support RWS, but I'm not hopeful... It's been in development forever and it looks pretty crap compared to the second game. Plus I'm still pissed they picked Uwe Boll to make the movie instead of Lloyd Kaufman or someone.
Hell yeah! Postal 3 is gonna be epic with third person view! :D

This may surprise you, but we were not in a position to pick and choose who would make a movie for us :) Still all things considered, it didn't turn out that badly really.

Well if you needed the money that bad, I certainly can't blame you. It's just annoying to watch film rights scooped up by crappy production companies.
I cant wait for Postal 3. I have to admit that I am new into the Postal games, I have beaten Postal 2 twice now and I have enjoyed the hell out of it, I do agree it is a little dated but it doesnt matter, the creativity and humor are what makes it great! And now im playing the Apocalypse Weekend add on and its even better than I thought it would be. It just goes to show you that a game from 2003 can still be great. That;s why I dont care about the delays too much, because it will still be funny as shit and challenging! Yes by the tim e the new Postal comes out it will seem a little dated but it doesnt matter, those guys know there shit... I think it will be a cult classic anyway, I kind of dont care that it might not be the game of the year or on par with GTA4 etc. The fans will line up in droves for it... as long as it is released soon! (fingers crossed), I think they will make money no matter what the price is set at, considering it is a worldwide game.
Maybe it's taking so long because they're trying to justify a $50 price tag? I dunno, I certainly wouldn't pay that much for it. (/Maybe/ $20, but more like 15 or 10) 3rd person kinda ruins the atmosphere imo.

Too long wait...
When is it due out? I keep seeing it on the web, but no release date. On top of that, where to find??? Rumor has it that there is an Xbox 360 version, but what reatailer would sell it? With all the controversy over violence, I would think RWS would enjoy the comfortable obscurity of PC games.

I've tried the RWS website, but can't get in to get any details. Something is up with their code.

I like the 3rd person as I'm more of an action/adventure fan than a FPS guy. If anyone has any more details, release date, platforms, video, I'd love to know.
I wasn't too thrilled with Postal 2. I liked Postal 1 though, I had the original bullethole box shortly after it came out. Rather funny, considering how young I was and that I'm a devout Christian, but there I was, in my pink dress playing it the night before Church.

Postal 1 is more my kind of humour and game, Postal 2 changed too much about the atmosphere and gameplay. For 3, I will wait some time before I take a look at it to see how it turns out. If it's a miracle and it turns out to be a lot like 1, I will get it for sure, if not, well to be honest I probably won't ever bother getting it.
