When i press play it syncs up, the button greys out then re-syncs and the button is back with no game lauching.

Am i doing somthing wrong, did i miss a step, or do i need to contact GOG?

Same here; I'm getting exactly the same behavior as you. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game via GOG Galaxy. When I try to run the executable directly from the folder, I see that two DLLs weren't found:

MSVCP140.dll
VCRUNTIME140.dll

These look to be part of a C++ redistributable ... but that's already installed on my system.

Any ideas?

Yes - but that *did* get me to double check. I used the "repair" option on both the x64 and x86 versions to make sure the DLLs were registered and presto it now works! Thanks :D
