Hey Guys,

1. I have dug out my old PR1 Game and i have now realised that your personal town can be in one of severall positions, is there a possibility of influencing where the hideout is?
2. Is there any downside if you do not marry the governors daughter? Because if i remember correctly she wasn't really of use just a bit annoying.
3. What is the purpose of "experience gain through trade" (i translated it from german "erfahrungsgewinn durch Handel") - I mean it is not really gamebreaking, just quite annoying that you have to pay for nothing once in a while.
4. I never tried out to give a pirate a decent ship like a galleon in the past, is it worth?
5. How many Gold do I roughly need when i want to GIVE a loan?

For future generations:
1) No
2) None really. She give You some tips about trade options and gets abducted from time to time. You can save her, but if You dont, pirate will return her and even pay You to get rid of her.
3) you dont pay for "nothing" You pay sallaries and wages of your workers, sailors and captains.
4) Pirates do not repair their ships and that means the will eventually die. Galleon means more cannons on board and that means bigger ships to be attacked meaning faster way to go down to bottom. It is better to give a few pirates some frigates or barques than galleons.
5) City treasurers start considering you wealthy after you are 500 000 (or more) afloat.

1. YES, MOST Definitely you can influence Where you your Hideout / private city IS on the map... Heres How:

First, Once you come across the gov note: I have a piece to a abandoned pirate hideout...

SAVE YOUR GAME HERE.


Accept the map piece and SAVE ANOTHER GAME HERE

Now look through all the cities you have not visited in a while and pick 1 or 2 that u have a warehouse in and start checking the Inn for someone selling another map piece...

Keep reloading till u find one

Once u find the person selling a matching map piece

Save game again

Now keep reloading till u get X marks the spot

I Always get it on the second map piece

NOTE: DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT BUY ANY TREASURE MAPS Before you get the Hideout Private city piece and get X marks the spot... u will regret it if u do, as Any potential map pieces will now be split.

If the location is Not to your liking go back to ur original save to where you accept the first map piece,

Rinse and repeat.
