Hey everyone,

I own Port Royale 2 on Steam and have been trying to get it to work. I downloaded some DLLs to replace in the PR2 folder and am running in compatibility mode but, unfortunately, to get it to run I have to run the game in windowed mode; this means I can't cap the FPS and my scroll speed is *insane.*

I was wondering if the GOG version is the same as the Steam one? Or am I just out of luck? If it'll run "out of the box" I'd just cough up the money and buy it here.

I would take my chance and just buy it to see but I know GOG can be a bit difficult with refunds.

Honestly I would not know, if it does or no, BUT...
from all I hear:

There is a work around to ur problem, not sure if u had to uncheck read only on the EXE file but thats what I hear and things worked just fine.

Wondering if steam was any help or did they refund what u paid?

All that aside, I was under the impression that gog did refunds just fine.
