What exactly are the differences in the various aims available in the game setup menu? Like 'balanced' vs. 'governor' etc. The manual doesn't really specify anything except that the game ends when you become governor. Thanks!

Is there any specific set of conditions to become a Governor?
Reputation? Money? Number of trade routes?

Are you still offered the position if you don't choose Governor option at the beginning of the game?

I am currently Ruler of the Seas 6 with as many millions to my name and while that might not seem much I've reached a point where I'd like to see the end animation but I don't know how to trigger it.

Any advice is deeply appreciated.
