NiteHackr: The Amiga version of most of these games was better. The Amiga had much better sound and music as well as graphics. The PC was just catching up. A similar game to this that used the same isometric engine was Power Monger (would love to see that on GOG by the way!) and the Amiga version of this game had a great intro with music etc and the PC version did not.

They seem very similar in many respects, but personally, I always preferred my Amiga and would still be using it instead of a PC had Commodore not went under. ;)
