So, I make my deity, distribute some experience, play some conquest, and then save. I quit, and when I come back, none of my previous data is there. I try to load, but it says it can't find anything. Is this fixable?

Perhaps I'm just doing it wrong.

Is anyone else having this problem? I am too - just bought it and I can play and save just fine. But when I go to load next time, there's nothing there.

Your data is most likely being saved in the Virtual Store. I assume you are running Windows Vista or 7 ?

One way to solve that bug is to turn off UAC as well as running as an administrator for the program. Someone else here will have better knowledge of the Virtual Store than myself as I've never encountered any issues with the VS, but pretty sure it has to do with UAC.

Uninstall the game and the install it into a non-protected folder (i.e. not Program Files). I use C:\Games\... It should be fine then regardless of whether you have UAC and DEP on or not.
