Is it possible to play a two player game over the internet with this version of the game? Does the GOG release support null modem over tcp/ip?

I was wondering the same thing, and found the answer: Yes, it should be feasible.

If you go to the Start menu shortcuts that are installed with the game, you'll find a folder called Network.

I haven't tested this yet, but it seems rather straightforward.
