It seems there was a v1.0.4 update for this that DOES work with Oculus controllers, but GOG hasn't got that update. It looks like the company (Mindfield Games) has folded, and I can't find the update file anywhere online for this, so unless you're OK with playing this using a games controller, or think you could play it in VR with a mouse and keyboard, I'd say it's best not to consider this a VR game in it's current state.
