I can run SWAT 2 but everytime I begin a mission, the movies that play before the mission do not play. Also, after the loadout screen, when I start mission, the game crashes. No error codes or messages. Anyone else experiencing this and if so, does anyone know a solution. I'd greatly appreciate it.

I just bought the game and ran into the same problem (I am using Windows 10). I solved it like this:

Downloaded SWAT 2's movies inXVID format from ModB:
https://www.moddb.com/games/police-quest-swat-2/downloads/swat2-xvid-movies
Replaced the files in the Movies directory with those
Renamed the install directory to SWAT 2. (It was Police Quest - SWAT 2 originally)

After this, the game ran fine - all videos played, and I loaded into the first SWAT mission without any other problems.
