This problem has been bugging me for some time, I tried latest PodHacks and it crash everytime I press 'Restart Race'.
Without PodHacks there is no crash but then the sound effects are garbled. I've also tried various compatiblity modes but it seems I can restart without crashing if I use the CD version of POD without PodHacks.
I wonder if it's the same with old school Pentiums because I don't recall it crashing so often, really tempted to build a retro rig for this just to play POD properly again lol.
Anyone's POD Gold also have this problem?
edit: nvm, sound stuttering 'fixed' by setting CPU affinity to 1 core. the car crashing from top sounds occasionally dont play though.
