Hey, guys,

As you all know, the Ubisoft FTP site has been down for a long time. Unfortunately, many other POD download pages have been lost as well :(

Phreakindee did a great job with PodPhreaks, and he even has a link to the Peteruk POD file index, which has some old and forgotten tracks.

And with some research and the help of the Internet Archive, I've been able to find a few of the other sites.

Unfortunately, the Peteruk POD file index is yet again displaying a blank page.

Maybe I should upload my fully blown CDPatcher directory, containing all tracks and cars known to mankind in the correct directory structure.

Since the Ubisoft FTP servers are gone for good, I changed the published winetricks verbs to use http://pod.nicode.net/mirror/
Just drop me a note if you want more files mirrored. Currently only the and the [url=http://pod.nicode.net/mirror/ftp.ubisoft.com/CDPatcher/]CDPatcher/vehicles/circuits are present.

Hi Peoples - good to see the faithful few are still playing what is surely the greatest race game ever produced for pc's!

Couple of probs I'd like help with: - I've got the game to play but NO audio... I've downloaded & unzipped the music files but cannot get any soundtrack?

From my earlier days of playing - I remember downloading some "motorcycles" as alternatives to cars - these were much more fun (being a hardened motorcyclist) to play - you could virtually feel them banking round corners...
Any pointers as to where I may get these - and how to install them?

Reminder to all players that typing "rocket" then enter within the Settings page (you may have to do this a few times)... gives you an extra 100 points to use on tuning your vehicle...

and that typing "crash" during the race start countdown enables you to drive straight through other vehicles and suffer no damage or deviation...

Look forward to response regarding the motorbikes...

I've installed tracks and cars from DebugErr and I get CTD when I want to load a new car or play some of the tracks, like Arcade or Hive.
