Hey,

I have the GOG Version. The maps are not displayed. What's the reason? Any ideas?

I think this is because you're probably using the Glide driver that comes with the GOG version. It's a bit outdated.

Use PodHacks and install one of the new versions of nGlide. There are also a lot of other bug fixes in the newer versions.
Thanks, but where can I get the newer versions?

Are you sure that you renamed GOG's glide2x.dll (to disable it) in the application directory?

Sorry, man, I had forgotten to tell you about that. :)

As Nico said, you have to rename glide2x.dll in the main game directory to something else (for example glide2x-gog.dll) in order to make the newer version of nGlide you installed work with POD.
OK, this fixed the problem. Thank u!
Sorry to dig up an old topic, but I have the same problem. Pod + PodHack + nGlide 1.04 (+ renamed GOG's dll, of course).

Any tips? TIA.

PS. One more question: game does not remember my control settings (gamepad). I have to adjust this options every time.

I've found that nGlide v1.04 wants you manually to set the resolution through the nGlide Configurator. I had problems with the intro (it didn't want to play) until I set the nGlide resolution to my screen res. Try it out. :)

Cheers!

I managed to display the track map with the instructions above (PodHacks +nGlide, I'm still getting "Install indeo to play the video" although setting game resolution to pc resolution), but there are no vehicle (player) numbers visible. There is only my progress visible, as the track on the map changes from red to green as I drive. Any hints? (Tried to take a screenshot, but got black screen instead.)

(necro bump)

After entering MAP, you have to hit F9 to toggle between "Red-Green Single Player Map" to "All Opponent Numbers Map"

Both at the same time is possible aswell (with weird colors) but working so fine I wonder why it isn't included like that in the game.
