EDIT 11-12-25: Good news! All of Studio Elan's visual novels on GOG have just been updated to their most recent build. Please Be Happy, Highway Blossoms, and Heart of the Woods are now up to date here as of November 2025. The rest of their VNs are available DRM free on Itch io if anybody's interested.

EDIT 10-23-25: Studio Elan, the devs, told me that some issues are preventing them to update their GOG releases. In the meantime, I invite people who want to play the latest version of Please Be Happy to buy it on Itch.io instead for now. It's DRM-free there too and up to date.

I just noticed the devs released an update to this game 3 or 4 months ago. Can GOG or the devs or whoever please update this to the latest version? I liked this visual novel a lot and would like to re-read it sometime.

Appreciate the link to directly contact the devs. I tried a while ago on their itch.io page, but what you provided might have a better chance of reaching them. Probably shoulda contacted GOG support a while ago too, so thanks for mentioning that. I'll mark this as solved if it's ever updated.
