Beamdog claim the EE is native, but the GOG version claims to be incompatible with High Sierra, and various workarounds mention Wineskin tweaks. Can someone with the game please confirm if this uses Wine. Is the GOG version different to Steam?

Looking to buy this because the classic version will not run anymore (on 12.6 Sierra), but a sale price is still money lost if I'm still buying a buggy package.

The Enhanced Edition is native, however with your purchase you also get the original version (which uses Wineskin) as a bonus.
