Hi.

i used to own torment on cd but when my cds died i bought it from here. i have a little problem though.

animations are fast. walking, running, etc. even the text that pops up ın TNO's head(for example when we gained a stat or hp) is way too fast. anyone knows why is that or how to fix it?

i am usind win7 by the way.

Did you edit the max fps in the Torment .ini file?
nope. can you tell me how to do it please?

edit: well maximum framerate is 40. what should it be?

edit2: i changed it to 30 and it seems fine. thanks for the help.

I'm not sure why GOG changed the max FPS in the first place. Should've kept it at the original rate.
I actually set it to 60 out of curiosity and ended up playing the whole game that way. Only had to slow it down for the Trias fight. You book across the map.
Thanks for this!

GOG definitely should not have set the frame rate to 40 for this, all of the Infinity Engine games default to 30 FPS, and all the game logic is also tied to the FPS. The classic versions of Baldur's Gate 1/2 and Icewind Dale 1/2 on GOG all default to 30 (as intended), so I dunno why this was messed up on P:T.
