My comp is getting repaired and was given a laptop in the mean-time, i was thinking of playing Planescape in the meantime but the laptop is Win7 and my conp is Vista.

Would the save game still work across both?

As long as you keep the same mod configuration (exact same mods installed or no mods at all), you'll be fine.
