You can call me lazy, but is it possible to dissable the intro movies, especially the bislogo and tsrlogo?

i tried to change the value in torment.ini

[Movies]
BISLOGO=0
TSRLOGO=0
OPENING=0

but it seems its hardcoded into the exe, the intro still plays at every start and the values are reset in the ini after playing.

The movies section of torment.ini is there to determine what movies are available in the in-game menu (Infinity Engine games). There is no setting to disable them, but you should be able to create dummy blank movie files and put them in the override folder. The blank files you will want to create are:

BISLOGO.MVE
OPENING.MVE
TSRLOGO.MVE

That should do it.

********************
Edit: No, I tried it and the override doesn't work on the intro movies. A little digging found the answer: in the \data\ folder there is a file called genmovB.bif which you need to replace with a blank file of exactly the same name -- rename the original in case you ever want them back. This is tested and works.
