Is the above way off the mark? Should we expect the Beamdog EE version of PS:T to have different quests or will they at least remain the same? I assume at least combat may be improved (IMO the only thing in PS:T that needs improvement)?
We'll have to wait and see what will be the new features (hopefully all will be revealed tomorrow). Their Baldur's Gate series had new joinable NPCs with their own quests and new areas; Icewind Dale, on the other hand, didn't have new content, but they restored quests cut from the original game.
Oh, the BG series also had a mini game, some sort of gladiators stuff, not sure if there's a full story to it or just fighting, I lost interest after two minutes, lol.
My guess is PST will be like IWD, no new content, only restored stuff that was cut from the original. I don't think they'll add new NPCs because those in PST had their own unique graphics, so they're not as easy to add as the ones in Baldur's Gate, but, who knows, it would depend on their budget.
As for new areas, perhaps they could do that for some restored quest or something. I would really appreciate new places to go and more stuff to do, the game always felt kinda small to me compared with the other Infinity Engine games.
