Hi,

Will we soon have an update?

And what will be the new features?

Thank's
Any news about new content?
Axis planes? (Bf 109E/F/G/K, Fw 190A/D, Me 262A, Ju 88A etc.)
New places? (Korean war? Vietnam war? WWI? f.e.)
The game seems a bit dead ...
No updates on GoG for this game? Over at Steam they've had several updates including adding a fourth plane, the Hurricane, and a hanger to work in. The next update, which the devs say, "is just around the corner" includes UI updates and a fifth plane, the Blenheim. Not allowed to include a link in this post but there is a link to a video detailing the upcoming update over on the Steam game page for "Plane Mechanic Simulator" and absolutely nothing from GOG. Sorta makes you wonder about who you buy your games from.
A hanger is something to hang your clothes on ;)

The delay is much probably on the author's side, so you'd better ask them, I doubt they spend much time in forums - they don't even have a website... Ask on their FB page perhaps, since that's apparently the only way of communication.

For my part, I'd rather wait a little more and be on GOG than on Steam.

Haven't bought it yet, from the multiple reviews, it seems very finicky with the temperamental controls, especially to get the mouse pointer to hit what you want it to select. I'll just sit this one out until I see some improvement and variety.

Thanks for the enlightenment as to one of the many definitions of "hanger"...

I had a Facebook account for a grand total of 2 weeks 5 or 6 years ago after which I wisely ran as fast and as far away from it as possible thus I can't contact the devs through that avenue. I did manage to track down a website for Cobble Games (the new developer) and sent a message asking them to update the GOG version in addition to the STEAM version of the game. No reply as yet.

I completely understand purchasing from GOG, as opposed to STEAM, but I am starting to wonder if STEAM might not be the wiser choice if that's the only place you can get the completed game. How long are you willing to wait for a GOG version that may never show up?

Yep, the controls/UI are finicky in the original version but I did manage to persevere and finished all 3 aircraft in both standard and hard modes. Hopefully the finickyness is addressed in the latest UI update (6/30) and since that is the 3rd update this year (1st in Feb, 2nd in May and 3rd in June) it would indicate a comittment by Cobble Games to keep developing... I hope, I hope, I hope.

Thx for your investigation. So i avoid games from cobble games from now on. I don´t need games that weren´t completeted as promised ...
To be fair, I haven't purchased an early access game on GOG, and updates are perhaps more critical in that case.

Usually GOG's support is responsive too, perhaps they can help or at least say if that's blocking on their side or on the developer's. I'll try to see if the FB page leads anywhere.

Yes, FB is not the best environment. And even worse as a company contact point, they normally have nothing to do with social sites, it's business. Trying to pretend their clients are friends is a bit hypocritical.

Cobble Games are, in this case, the good guys. They are not the original devs, they took over when the originals gave up and disappeared into the sunset. They are also the ones responsible for the Steam updates but, for whatever reason, they haven't updated here yet.

I did get a response from GOG in which they said that they were contacting the developers to see what was going on. Hopefully that will eventually bring the updates here... fingers crossed.
