I noticed some annoying sound lag in the sound effects and after comparing .conf files I noticed the following:
gog.com Dosbox has:
blocksize=2048
prebuffer=80
default Dosbox 0.74 has:
blocksize=1024
prebuffer=20
After resorting to default Dosbox 0.74 settings the lag was gone.
I also set all the sound rates to 44100 (gog uses 22050), I think the music sounded a bit better but that could just be me.
