I just grabbed the Hero Edition during the Insomnia Sale, not realizing that there were 3 versions to pick from and tons of bonus stuff I would miss out on. From what I've played, I've really enjoyed it all, but I'm not exactly willing to buy a second copy and now that I know upgrades are offered elsewhere I'm a bit disappointed honestly. Found that over a year ago GOG said they were working on releasing upgrades for these versions and saw that Steam offers upgrades as well.

Any news on this or is this just not happening?

Thanks for the response, shocked I couldn't find anything about that anywhere else. What a shame.
