My game shows "Unknown game version" in Galaxy since around the time the "Rum Runner's Pack" was released.

Unfortunately I can't verify or repair the game because the option is greyed out. Same for (de)installing DLCs.

My game version is the Fig Backer Ultimate Digital Edition, Patch 1.0.2.0089 Release v1.

I'm hesitant to redownload 20GB. Had this error already some months ago with SOMA and it was basically a typo by GOG and easily fixed.

Can someone confirm this error or am I the only one? Thanks.

Had that issue as well, reinstalled the game 'cause I also had some trouble with Galaxy at first not noticing that I had the Rum Runner's Pack already installed and after it did all my DLC went missing in the client so I said "screw it" and did download the 20GB again. Gladly that took only 'round 30min.
Thanks for your reply.

So after removing the game I re-downloaded/installed again directly through Galaxy and the problem still persists.

Can't verify or repair because the option is greyed out.

This is starting to piss me off, GOG.

I've had that problem, in addition to verify loops and other issues with the DLC in PoE 2. When you uninstall a game Galaxy seems to retain details about it previous state, so if that data gets bugged somehow, it will likely stay bugged even when the game reinstalled. I fixed it doing the following.

I deleted the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage folder, which will completely reset your library. Then I used the "Scan and Import Folders" option in Galaxy to re-build my library, which took a while, but it always seems to fix most issues.

It might be worthwhile to create a bug ticket on mantis.gog.com and provide them with your logs and the contents of your storage folder before doing the fix. I was so pissed off the last time it happened to me I trashed my entire GOG.com folder before I realized I should have probably submitted a bug before rebuilding my library.

That fixed it for me, thanks!

Although after that, Galaxy couldn't define the patch level for many games and showed "Unknown version", but verifying the affected games fixed it.
This worked for me after re-installing The Witcher 3 GOTY from backup install files downloaded from GOG client. After installing, GOG Client did not recognize the install and I could not verify. Closing GOG, going to C:/Program Data/GOG.com/Galaxy/Storage, deleting all files, and launching GOG rebuilt those files. Then I scanned my C:/ drive, then did Verify/Repair for The Witcher 3 GOTY. Game works and now I can launch from the GOG client. ***THANK YOU!!!***
Deleting the "storage" folder worked for me too! Thank you!
Yes! Thank you! This worked!
It doesn't work for me there is no 'storage' file to be found.
