I am in the process of purchasing PoE but am concerned with the various problems reported with patch 2.01. At this time I do not want to download and install the latest expansion The White March. So, if I stick with patch 2.0 are there any problems I should be aware of?

I don't have any problems, not with 2.0, not with 2.01, with or without the expansion. Just try it and see for yourself.

1.06 was fine.
Atm I postpone playing with 2.01
