So, I really like Deadfire, but there's something (and I know it's a silly thing to worry about) that bothers me.

Namely, that there is a recurring expense, which is the food and drink for my crew, but I, so far, haven't found a recurring source of income. And feeding the crew *is* costly - even if I buy the most basic stuff that won't lower morale, that's 20+20 cp for food and drink per day for everyone, meaning that even with a pitiful crew of 7, that's 7*40=280 cp each day. (And 350 with their wages.)
Now, I know I can loot quite a bit of coin and a few expensive items during my adventures, but to me, personally, having a constant expense without a constant, reliable income to cover it causes a kind of anxiety and I feel that I'm rushed to play through the game. I prefer taking my time exploring everything.
(And I know I could just buy the cheapest, morale-lowering items and make up for it with an occasional morale boost, but I don't find this reliable enough.)

So, my question is: is there, form some point, a way to generate a recurring income?

Only side quests, looting dungeons and raiding (pirate) ships. Remember to board the ships, don't sink them! You'll soon be getting 10s to 100s of thousands of gold per dungeon/raid. Your stash has no limit and shops don't run out of money.

Is any of these repeatable, though? I know dungeons don't repopulate and I don't know of any repeatable ("radiant") quest - if there are, I'll be very happy with them. My concern is (however improbable) eventually running out of money.

There are enough ships and dungeons for you to never run out of money, unless you literally throw it away. Getting 200,000 gold from the loot sold from one dungeon? That's the kind of money you're looking at as the loot gets better (fine, exceptional, superb etc. and unique items). I don't know of anybody who has a problem with money, except early game, which is the same with all games of this kind.
Like I've stated, I do know my concerns are probably improbable.
Thanks for the answers, let's see if I can run out of money by moseying :P.
