Downloaded it (the 1.04->1.05), and after a really long install process it gives me some .dll error and doesn't work.
*sigh*

Do I have to reinstall everything again?

Did you install the IEMod ? It prevents updating, you have to install back original 1.04 assembly-csharp.dll

1.05 works great for me BUT everytime I manually save (not quicksave) or exit the game the box for "save game settings" shows up. there is nothing to click on the box. it just shows up then disappears. doesn't effect the game otherwise.

That's not the case for me, my game is unmodded.

After installing the 1.05 patch, i've started a new game and noticed several problems:

- All character voices are gone. All other sounds (music,sound effects,footsteps,chapter narrations, etc.) seem to be in place, but there is no voiceover whatsoever. I'm unable to hear selected voiceset during character creation, and after the game starts, there is no single voiced line out of any of the characters.

- I can't pick a portrait for my character. The only thing i see is the red question sign. Same goes for recruitable NPCs , except for two starting companions. I tried to change the portrait in-game, but the slider for the portraits doesn't work, although i can change the voiceset, which is pointless due to the voiceover issue.

I redownloaded the whole game (1.05 version) but the result stayed the same.

So what hapeened with " We are working with GOG to find a solution to deploy beta patches there, too"?!! Or with the upgrade options from Hero to Champion or Royal Edition?! And i mean not by contacting support, but through site's store.

I am curious about the beta as well??????

I guess there is no way. I have a KS Hero Edition and i don't see any way to upgrade. Also, since that announcement, things got really quiet...
