I was having the issue where 3.02 was trying to install as 18,000 TB but I thought I solved that by just manually installing the patch via the files list from GOG. I launched the game through Galaxy and it seemed to work. I played for about an hour and then quit. When I came back to the game, the Play button is grayed out and Galaxy says the game is corrupted. I tried the "Verify/Repair" button but it seems to just sit there telling me it's "retrieving file list." Do I need to uninstall the whole game to get it working again?

I tried to download the offline installer and it's not working either. I get about 10% installed, and then it just freezes. I feel like the GOG version of the game is irrevocably broken for me. I would hate to have to pay twice to buy this game on Steam to get the patches to work properly.
I am getting very tired of this client refusing to install the game that I paid for and the developers broke with their patch. I tried installing it a third time and got the same ridiculous error. I then tried to Verify/Repair and the client wants to download 13 MB of missing files. Except GOG Galaxy refuses to download anything, being stuck at 0.0 MB/s. Attached is an image of my issue.

If this was just an issue with Galaxy I could understand since the client is in beta. But I cannot even install my game offline. This is infuriating.

Have you, at any time, installed any mods?

Edit: Mods should be removed completely before applying patches, else the patch can choke while verifying files. This has happened to me in the past, and the solution is to remove the mod/s and restore any backed up files -- you did back up any changed files, right?

I did not install any mods at all.
