hello,

having some issues installing. Patch log says
Incorrect version of: ..\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\level163
Incorrect version of: ..\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\sharedassets164.assets

redownloaded the patch but still same issue. it was fine patching up to patch exe of 2.8.

internet speed is slow so full game download would be the very last thing to do and if i'm really desperate.

btw trying to contact support but kept loading on the "my games" support page only, not sure if i'm doing it right.

thanks

For the contact GOG, one you select your game with the technical issue, search for this legend: "I can't find solution for my problem"

Click on it and should bring you to a form to fill.

I don't remember if there was a 2.9, but maybe the problem is you didn't patch the 3.0 or the 3.2.

it was from 2.03 to 3.0 and from 3.0 to 3.01 that was successful. from 3.01 to 3.02 it gives that error. sorry to confuse you but I was using the exe filename "patch_pillars_of_eternity_2.9.0.15.exe" 2.9=3.02
I suspected something like that was amiss. I continue to be baffled at why GOG are using their own patch numbers. All it does is confuse everybody else.
Hi, I can confirm that I'm having this same issue updating from GOG patch 2.8.0.14 (which applied successfully) to GOG patch 2.9.0.15 (which failed).

same here, anybody found a solution to this?
No solution but same issue
Isn't there a hotfix to patch 2.8.0.14 (two small files, level163 and sharedassets164.assets) to put in game install directory to fix loading save games? Maybe you have to revert those two files to original ones from patch to be able to apply 2.9.0.15?

These are the downloadable files:
patch_pillars_of_eternity_2.7.0.13.exe = Patch 3.00
patch_pillars_of_eternity_2.8.0.14.exe = Patch 3.01
patch_pillars_of_eternity_2.9.0.15.exe = Patch 3.02
patch_pillars_of_eternity_2.10.0.16.exe = Patch 3.03

There are no other downloadable patches that I can see. And I am stuck with 3.01, being unable to patch up to 3.02

If you don't have restriction with your Bandwidth, you can download the full game again. And it will be patched to the last version.
Gonna give it a try. Will do with gog galaxy.
Worked
Thanks Bud
