Hi all,

I have the original Pillars of Eternity game intalled and have played it (not the definitive edition) and I just purchased The White March Expansion Pass.

I'm using GOG Galaxy and in order to download the expansions I went to Pillars of Eternity game in my library and went to "more" then "backups and goodies" then manually clicked on the expansions and they downloaded.
The game still doesn't recognize the when I open the game on the main menu screen.

I then when to the folder where the game files are and looked under the "Downloads!" folder and found the setup installer for the two expansions, but when I run them, it says it does not see that I have the PIllars of Eternity base game installed and so it won't install them.

I'm not really sure what to do here...

Are there any known solutions to this problem?

Thanks in advance!!

You shouldn't have done it that way. You should have gone to More >> Settings. You will see a list of DLCs. Tick any you want to install. I should add that it would probably be best to verify/repair your game before doing this.

I had tried to go there before, but nothing was there.
It turns out the solution is to do a "verify/repair" and then the DLC's will show up in that location.
Mine eneded up just showing up as a random assortment of numbers, but it still works.

Thanks for the help.

That random assortment of numbers will change to the actual names as the game updates. Give it time.
