I only have have a 1080p monitor and the default loading resolution is set too high for me to load the game.

Is there a work around for this?

That's odd. I have a 1080p monitor and the game detects and sets the options appropriately. Unfortunately Unity games tend to store their config data in obscure form in the registry. You need to find

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity\

and look for an entry called something like

Resolution_hxxxxxxxxxxxx (xxxxx is numericals)

Double click on it and change the data value to (EXACTLY!)

Hey, thanks. But once I uploaded the White March expansion, it fixed itself. If it happens again, I will follow your directions.
